At Medova Hospital, one of the significant health centers of Konya, the Oncology Center with state-of-the-art technology screening systems and a chemotherapy unit has been put into service.

The hospital’s Chief Physician Specialist Doctor Fatma Mine Karaman said that they had spared the nicest of the hospital for the oncology patient to provide morale for them. Chief Physician Karaman stated that they had started with the intention of offering a significant oncology service and added, “We have a Chemotherapy cure unit with 8 beds and a service with 9 beds. Daily we examine 30 outpatients and in-patients on average. At the moment we have not reached the maximum figures yet and unfortunately, there is a high potential of oncology patients. We believe that giving morale to our patients in nice terraced rooms with a Konya view is important and so we spared the nicest rooms of our hospital for oncology patients. Currently there are 2 physicians and 5 nurses in the oncology section. Our emergency care with 25 beds and all our screening systems are at the service of our patients.”

“Our service for oncology patients is very important”
Oncology Specialist Prof. Dr. Özlem Ata said that Konya has gained a unit, where oncology patients will receive quality treatment. Ata mentioned that this unit is necessary for the treatment of oncology patients and went on saying, “Today Konya has gained a new oncology center. Our service for oncology patients is very important. There is a rather big need for this issue. We have opened a good center and our patients will receive quality treatment here. We wish it will bring the best for all of us and Konya”.
